Ashley has showcased her talent across various theaters nationwide, collaborating with diverse artists and directors. Notably, in 2011, she received the Spotlight award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of "Sylvia" in All Shook Up. Her standout performance came in 2016 at the Dallas Theater Center, originating the role of "Bella" in the world premiere musical Bella: An American Tall Tale, which earned her a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for Best Actress In a Musical.

Her television credits expanded in 2018 with a co-star role as Young Nurse on Marvel's Luke Cage Season 2 and a recurring guest star role as Dee Marshall on Netflix's Insatiable. She also joined the US Tour of The Play That Goes Wrong. Recently, Ashley marked her Broadway debut on April 4, 2023, portraying "Storyteller 1" in the original cast of Shucked, further solidifying her versatility and skill in both theater and screen performances.
