Daniel Trachtenberg is an American filmmaker. He directed the 2016 horror-thriller film 10 Cloverfield Lane, which earned him a Directors Guild of America Award nomination for Outstanding Directing, First Feature Film. He also directed the film Prey, the 5th installment of the Predator franchise.

In addition to his feature work, Trachtenberg has also directed various television commercials and public service announcements, including the Black Mirror episode entitled "Playtest," and the series premiere episode of Amazon Prime Video's The Boys (2019). In 2021, he directed the premiere episode of the Peacock series The Lost Symbol where he serves as an executive producer.
