Kay Hannahan ('16) is a documentary filmmaker that is based in Minneapolis. She holds an MFA in Film & Media Arts from Temple University and a BA in Anthropology from Concordia University Montreal. The series Lost in Bulgaria, where she served as co-director, was nationally broadcasted on Nova Television in 2011. Hannahan has spend years making films in Bulgaria, where she was a Peace Corps Volunteer. Her films have been featured and screened by The Atlantic and The U.S. National Gallery of Arts as well as several film festivals like Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Docudays Human Rights Film, Festival, and Ethnografilm.
