Following her BA from Temple University, Lateefah Holder ventured into regional theater, starring in productions like Napoli!, A Christmas Carol, and Romeo and Juliet. Her stage career expanded with diverse plays including The House of Bernarda Alba, Seven Guitars, and Tartuffe.

Transitioning to screen work, Holder made her mark in TV series like Transparent, Modern Family, and Curb Your Enthusiasm, showcasing her versatility. She also appeared in films such as Disjointed and HBO's Getting On.

Holder earned her MFA from the American Conservatory Theater and now shares her expertise as a teacher for young actors at the Amazing Grace Conservatory in Los Angeles.
