Temple is buzzing about this year's Oscars because two of our alums are nominated for Academy Awards -- Colman Domingo for Lead Actor for his role in RUSTIN and Temple Theater alum Da'Vine Joy Randolph.
After winning numerous accolades including the Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG-AFTRA awards, Temple Alumna, Da'Vine Joy Randolph is running into the Oscars with a head of steam. Her touching performance as Mary in the Best Picture Oscar nominated film THE HOLDOVERS is something the film community is highly lauding, but Temple professors Peter Reynolds and Doug Wager remember Da'Vine when she came into an audition at Temple and just blew their minds with her raw talent.
Philadelphia ABC6 was on campus to interview the professors about their time with Ms. Randolph and what they remember about the star to be.
