This section includes information on opportunities within the university and within the greater film community. The Department of Film and Media Arts sponsors five annual film festivals, provides guidance on internships and supports student efforts to submit to local and national film festivals. 

Additionally, the department has a strong veterans program, aimed at creating engaged storytellers through technical and creative instruction in the art of filmmaking. 

For assistance in finding opportunities, students are encouraged to consult not only with their faculty advisors about internships and jobs but to also consult the information boards in Annenberg as well as make contact with the University’s Career Center which has a wealth of information and resources to help get you ready to contact and interview top employers. Additionally the department produces a e-newsletter with updated information on production opportunites, call for entries and more.
